Well, being part of the colonies, with no concrete distinction as to what defines an individual person, it can be rather difficult to express ones thoughts clearly if you cannot differentiate between the thoughts one selects as one's own to express and those one does not select as one's own. These thoughts get jumbled together, which leads towards the phenomenon known as 'babble.'

Conclusion: the concept of a 'self,' with the right balance of permeability and impermeability, is necessary in order to avoid the phenomena known as babble.

Thank you flow, for the demonstration of what comes from a self where permeability is carried to the point of being pickled.

Verily sir, I have been more than a little diverted by your linguistic abominations.

Re: You

A wise man from West Virginia once said, " There's a great difference between the King's English, an' whut we'alls bein' a'speekin." I don't recall who that might have been, but some of my forebears originated in West Virginny

My humble opinion stated above, and as Seattlegirl so wisely observed, has mostly to do with comparative methods and procedures involved in our relative attempts to "pickle our brains". I would propose that experimentation and empirical evaluations of the data would likely suggest equivalent amounts and degrees of "brain pickling occurs" whether "white lightnin" or an aged "single malt scotch" were used.

* maybe Tao will help us in this*

After all the Scots call it the "elixir of life" and it is their offspring who eventually emmigrated to western Virginia colony to grow corn and distill it into what is now sipped from Mason jars

So you see dear friend Snoopy that absolutely everything may be rationalized wholistically these days. Even empirically conducted experimentations and evaluations.

Just think about that statement... (taken from dictionary.com.)
