The problem of Israel is very simple and consists entirely of the decision by a bunch of Jews to invade and occupy the lands of the Palestinians killing or deporting hundreds of thousands of those Palestinians in order to have their land, water and personal assets as their own.
Everything else is an attempt by the Jews either to justify and expand their occupation or to kill Palestinian resistance to the theft of their homes.

omprem,
i am all for sensible discussion but this particular issue has been discussed ad nauseam by far more reasonable people than yourself. your point of view adds nothing to this debate and you are not helping anyone, least of all the palestinians. all you are doing is repeating a list of tendentious, bigoted accusations and i'm not interested in discussing this with anyone so obviously close-minded.

That's the usual approach of any narrow-minded totalitarian. "The problem is simple and consists entirely of bad people doing somethng bad, so let's kill all the bad people."

I think if you think Israel does not encourage all the very worst kinds of immigrants, including sex offenders, then you have no concept of the true picture.

Not all convicted sex offenders are like the ones most people hear about.
Several years ago, a young man impregnated his underage girlfriend (both of their parents said that the relationship was consenting and that neither his parents nor her parents had any objections to the couple) and The State brought charges (the young man was convicted of statutory rape: ie. he's a convicted sex offender.) He has to register at any/all police stations as a sex offender for the rest of his life. The only thing that makes him a sex offender is that his girlfriend at the time was underage (I believe they married each other when she became a legal adult).
Another thing: one doesn't always hear about offenses (there's one I found out about on the Student Doctor Network that makes me rather angry just posting about, but the poster didn't go into more than rudimentary detail).
Also, back then, being Jewish was as bad, if not worse than, being a convicted sex offender (have you ever heard of the "Blood Libel"?)

Some people such as yourself are unable to face the truth especially when it interferes with their prejudices.
There is nothing bigoted about pointing out that Jews invaded a land that was not theirs, killed or deported hundreds of thousands of the rightful inhabitants of that land, and even today do not admit fault (sounds just like you), and refuse to atone for their actions. That is all a matter of public record.

Except I didn't say that the Jews should be killed. That was your contribution.
But now that you mention it, those who do murder have to pay a high price as a penalty for doing it.
It seems to me that the Jews in Palestine (and those who support them) define totalitarianism.

There are murderers on both sides. Neither they nor their victims pay the full price. It is those left behind weeping that are made to pay.

Strange - I thought it was the UN acting under direction from the US to set up a dedicated country for the Jews where they would be safe to live without fear of persecution by their resident government?

If you actually look closely I have never at any time denied that the Jewish people have a right to a homeland around Jerusalem, their spiritual home. But you will continue to find me outspoken against Israeli oppression of the Palestinian people. I was just trying to point out the ridiculousness of Fartans statements.
