Re: What Was the Birth Date of Jesus?

The names of Christmas and Halloween were Christianized, but Easter still has the pre-Christian name.

Re: What Was the Birth Date of Jesus?

I have two reasons I guessed autumn for the birth of Jesus. My first reason was a footnote in a Qur'an saying that Mary, after giving birth, shook a fig tree and figs fell for her to eat. It said that the figs are ripe in the autumn... My other reason is that both the Bab and Baha'u'llah were born in the autumn and I thought it would make sense if Jesus was also. The Bab was born October 20th and Baha'u'llah on November 12th. In the Islamic calendar they were born closer together.... two years apart, but only a day or two apart in the Islamic calendar.
