"Its got electrolites in it", lol! Great budget film - I enjoyed the movie to the core...

Babel.

Interesting format but not entralling overall. Didn't really feel great involvement with the characters.

Michael Clayton.

Brilliant piecing together of a jigsaw that got more and more tense. Want to watch it again already.

I saw Juno and Sicko and Stuntman. I think that's the name of the third one. It was awful.

The Shoveller: That doesn't make any sense, he wouldn't be able to see.

I am not the best to answer this but an underage girl has a baby with an underage boy at her school and it is about her struggle to come to grips with it and goes through the whole system of adoption and gets to know the couple before the birth.

Re: What Movies Have You Seen Recently?

I watched this the other day... Had a dream about it last night so I am now sat watching it at work.... Starts off like most, all nice and happy dealing the green, gets big weights, the green turns to white... And it gets messy lol.

Blow (2001)

A boy named George Jung grows up in a struggling family in the 1950's. His mother nags at her husband as he is trying to make a living for the family. It is finally revealed that George's father cannot make a living and the family goes bankrupt. George does not want the same thing to happen to him, and his friend Tuna, in the 1960's, suggests that he deal marijuana. He is a big hit in California in the 1960's, yet he goes to jail, where he finds out about the wonders of cocaine. As a result, when released, he gets rich by bringing
cocaine to America. However, he soon pays the price.

Re: What Movies Have You Seen Recently?

Wise choice of film

In my small opinion, it puts any other film in the shade, still is my favourite movie of all time, and always will be.

I saw The Darjeeling Limited. It was pretty good. It was more serious than I would have expected from Owen Wilson, a bit off-beat. Very nice, touching film.

Re: What Movies Have You Seen Recently?

We watched 12 Monkeys last night. I saw it sometime about twelve years ago when it first came out, but remembered only certain parts of it and the general idea. It's an interesting sci-fi flick: in 1996, a bioengineered plague kills five billion people and forces the remainder underground. Bruce Willis--I mean, James Cole--is a violent prisoner in the 21st century underground culture who is sent on 'volunteer' duty to time-travel back to 1996 to "gather information" about the Army of the Twelve Monkeys, who it is thought spread the mutating virus that ended civilization and severely truncated humanity.

Question for those of you who have seen the movie (recently?) and POSSIBLE MOVIE SPOILER WARNING! DANGER! THE MOVIE COULD BE SPOILED FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT AND READ THIS QUESTION--BLAT!!! BLAT!!! SPOILER ALERT!! WHEE-OOOO!! WHEE--OOOO!!:
What do you make of the time-traveling woman sitting next to you-know-who on the plane at the end of the movie, when she says, "I'm in insurace?" Do you think that she is also "gathering information," or do you think that the time-travelers' game plan has changed? What is keeping her/them from stopping the spread of the plague at that point?
END SPOILER WARNING

Also, this movie has an awesome performance by Brad Pitt, and some very funny lines by a pimp who has just gotten the sherbet beat out of him by Bruce Willis.
