Leo,

If you are seroius about understanding scientology this question is irrelevant as most scientologists aren't even exposed to that information. It was leaked and has little to do with the fundamental principles of scientology as a religion as can stories or portions of any religion. Just my personal view but I would recommend examining the basic published teachings and making your own informed opinion.

JM

Nah, I was just nitpicking, JM. But you are right, of course.

You are correct to say that the rank and file donators to the coffers of scientology are not fed the gobbledeygook of aliens and thermonuclear explosions in volcanoes. To get access to them you have to be very very rich indeed. And considerably less richer before you are told. Scientology operates a hierarchy of disclosure based on wealth and wealth alone. I am sorry but I cannot sit here and pretend that it is anything but a SHAM CULT. Not even a genuine one where its leaders are self deluded, but one that at the top is only about extracting cold hard cash for a select few.
