Re: What is America thinking?
lol... muslimwomen, it's really quite simple...
first, the people in Country A makes so many guns and bombs they have a surplus. If Country A shuts down its factories, then Country A's shareholders lose lots of money and so Country A sells the excess to Countries B and C, even though B and C would prefer to buy something else.
Then, when country B and C make a mess of things and cause mayhem and all the mommies are crying for their dead soldier boys then country A sends their young soldiers in to "fix things", and then country B and C are indebted to them. Depending on who country A "likes best" this season either country B or Country C will be overthrown and all their money will be taken away and shared between countries A and their friends while A pretends it never sold anyone any guns or bombs and is a decent country really and only wants to help B and/or C get back on their feet.
I don't think it has anything to do with human rights... just wrongs..

Re: What is America thinking?
This is what this book is about:
In Eye to Eye - Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel, the book documents what happens the same day or within 24 hours of Israel being pressured to divide her land. Here are a few examples found in these pages:
There were 29 record-setting catastrophes or major events during President George H.W. Bush and President Bill Clinton's presidencies.
There were 27 record-setting catastrophes or major events during President George W. Bush's first 45 months in office.
There were eight periods of disruption in the United States following the 9-11 terror events from October 1, 2001 to January 9, 2004 when President George W. Bush attempted to divide Israel's land.
Europe began experiencing its hottest summer in 500 years and record-setting weather the week the Quartet's Road Map was delivered in 2003.
There were 31 major suicide bombings in Israel from December 1, 2001 to November 10, 2004, that occurred at the same time President George W. Bush or one of his top-level staff and/or one of Israel's top officials were working with the U.S. on either a cease-fire agreement, a peace deal, publicly stating Israel's approval of a Palestinian state, or Israel was about to evacuate property.
The book also documents what happened to previous American Presidents (beginning with the Presidency of Richard Nixon to the present) and Middle East leaders who were actively involved in the Middle East peace process during their time in office and/or afterwards.
Eye to Eye is a profound example that the God of Israel is very serious about His covenant land and that those who continue to pressure Israel to divide her land will experience even greater consequences.
So Global warming is Gods anger that Israel is being pressured into returning some of the land it stole from the Palestinians. Hmmm.. so if we all agree Israel can keep them we can prevent further Global catastrophe!!! Who ever thought it could be so easy!!
Is it scary that the White House has such nutters on its books?
I warn you all now.. you had better condemn me now because as I call the contents of this book irrational bull anyone agreeing with me may well be smited by God.

Hi Francis
That's the problem though, they are selling these surplus weapons, they are giving them in AID arrrgggghhhh. Oh can I just call them bribes because it aid is so offensive. Now Egypt has nothing the US wants other than the fact that the government is pro west. Saudi's oil will run out in 2016, so it's not oil they want from Saudi. So what I am trying to establish is where America are going with this. If they support just Israel, they allienate the rest of the Mid East. If the support the Mid East without Israel, the big Israeli money men in the US withdraw their government support. So I can see why they are arming enemies but my gut tells me there is something more sinister to this.
Russia is starting to get a little paranoid again and backing away from western policies and is also getting a little cosy with China. Put the sheer numbers together (Russia & China) and that is a rather large fighting force (oh ok it is a frighteningly large amount of cannon fodder). Politics really isn't my thing my gut is telling me there is something really unpleasant going on.

Thanks Chris great analysis, now I am seriously depressed. G-d bless bloody America (no offense to Americans just to your damned government). Talk about tinkering with world affairs. I liked it better when your President took the word affair more literally!!

Heh. And why is it that when a President is caught with his pants down enjoying a little lick of the lollypop (hey, it was shameful, I just wanted to be cute...) he gets slammed with impeachment hearings, and when a President lies many times to start wars of agression, he is at first commended, then slowly brought to accountability (that is if Congress can ever get around his administration's brazen and exagerrated claims to 'executive privelege')?
Like I stated in another thread recently, we seem to really have skewed perspectives about what is moral and immoral in this country. It's okay to kill and bomb in the name of God and country, but get a blowjob on the job and you've crossed the line.
Sad, sad. Sad.

Agreed. Another example has to be the media. Look at the publicity given to Paris Hilton for going to jail for a few days, yet at the same time that was happening how many people were dying needlessly in the world? Really, do we care more about what Victoria Beckham is wearing than how to find peace in the Middle East or how to stop the effects of global warming flooding India????? Ooooo it makes me so mad.
