What about it then folks..... what if God was one of Us? Or if one of us was a genuine Prophet... how would we know? What would you ask if you had just one question? So you feel like a little Prophecy?.... let loose....share the news mannnnnnnnnnn. If there is just one thing you could change about your Faith/Religion what would it be? Why? Or is there maybe just 1 thing that prevents you embracing a Faith/Religion...again what is it? Why? TE |

Imagining that you may be just like a experimental installation artist messing with paint and stuff ?
what about the bad bits -do you not feel like slashing the canvas sometimes? which bits are you most proud of ? how do you manage the ego ? when's the next exhibition ? |

Oh and the question part I wouldn't bother... Because I already know the answer.... It would be "No." If I was alowed to ask one thing of some ultra sooper dooper leet being... I'd ask to be equal in power.

Guess it is ok as the almighty you can in hindsight correct your errors in that regard and give them a reprieve...but don't they have friends and relatives that they will also beseech you to assist on their behalf...and don't they...? Oops might as well back up and reprieve that smite and head to some other planet to continue playing with your new found powers... or... Be magnanomous to those around you, assist in every humanly way, smile and greet others warmly, do more than is asked of you in work, family and public situations...start those random acts of kindness/pay it forward things and create a ripple in the fabric of your world... |

Well eventually you'd get bored with the smiting... Just like in that book, the bible? and turn to more productive ways
 seriously though, if you or I were god.... Would you set stupidly high standards for the humans, ones they could never reach and make them feel bad? Or would you love them just how they are? Or would you go for the third option and just SMITE them. |

if i were god i would introduce the next phase of evolution...and watch the dumbfounded scurrying around like lost children once they realized homo sapiens sapiens had just been usurped...
imagine the disappointment when a species comes to realize they have been usurped...that would be a hoot |

why I havent embraced a religion or faith?????? Thats why Im here I suppose, I went to a catholic school, I think that was before the nuns had to have an academic idea in their holy heads!!!! If they couldnt answer a question, any question, the standard response was " its one of the great mysteries of God". Lots of questions and no answers. So like every bad catholic school girl, I turned to withcraft and demonology( jsut to horrify the parents) The books were too hard for me to understand, ( learning all the levels of hell and the demons that were in charge of each level etc) I thought, how in Hades does anyone knnow this stuff. so Im still searching, but not a desperately,as I once was. I suppose I think that ill find a faith that suits me when I see it. but If I was god, Id treat the planet like I do here at home. Some people would be grounded and sent to their room for a long time. Some just need a good smack. Some need a good cuddle, and all need to know that I love them anyway.
