It seems a subtle undertone in the film but it is the Islamiphobisism that seems to be an important undercurrent that drives these......erm......"ordinary people". Many are nothing but bigotted racists to the core. I prefer to call them what they are....nutters. Most of them when questioned all come out with some story of emotional damage that tipped them over the edge into refuge in their brand of faith. How do you deal with that? A myth is their panacea for coping with the fact that life marches on and they will never be central to anyone but themselves. Do I want to kick away their crutches? I do. I wanna shake em and say stop being so f*****g selfish, find freedom in helping the global community regardless or in spite of belief. But they are all fat and intoxicated on their own selfish lonliness, angst and hurt. Hard people to reach.

Ahhh, don't you see ? Some do not wish the sensibilities of the docile U.S. sheepfold to be unnecessarily upset since it is basically fundamentalist money from America that is funding much of this apocalyptic nonsense in Israel.

The fundies just want us all to remain extremely fearful and gently go Baaa as we gaily trip into their manufactured sunset to fulfill Bibllical prophecies. Even the Israelis who aren't into this minority time warp right wing abomination think it's all nuts.

Anyway you slice it, international censorship sucks. Especially when it is fashioned to prevent and forestall the formation of groups in opposition to what's being engineered before their eyes.

That is disappointing. It is the same with our "Channel4 on demand" service which I would often link to, (its investigations are often more rigorous and independent than the BBC). I guess that there is some kind of copyright protection issues involved.

Hi Mark...I know I've mentioned this place before but day in and day out these people do the best job by far of presenting a clear, objective, and alternate viewpoint on world events. They also have an extensive archive going back about ten years.
