Hi All,

You will see this hermetic axiom on many of the old Rosicrucian diagrams:
"Visita Interiora Terrae Rectificando Invenies Occultum Lapidem": Visit the Innermost of the Earth and by Rectifying you will find the Hidden Stone.

Acrostically this motto forms the word ‘vitriol’, "is a symbolical allusion to obtaining the tincture of life."

The inner earth does have labyrinthine ways- and layers like an onion (inner spheres). Indeed a student can get lost in those circuitous windings mistaking it for higher worlds!
