Scientists report virgin birth

"As is typical with scientists, we doubted our own results and so we did it again, and then a third time using a new technique with new genetic approaches. This confirmed there was no DNA of any male," said Prodohl

"But as a short-term alternative to extinction, it has its benefits," he said.

This does work.

Re: Virgin Birth

It's the sharks Messiah!!! They've been waiting for this for so long now!!

On a serious note, if they have shown it is possible for a shark to have a virgin birth... Would this be the same for the human being a 100% different type of animal? If yes, then also wouldn't this go to show, that maybe infact jesus wasn't some divine blessing.... He was just born from a freak situation..... ?

-edit-

amended typos... It's almost 00:00 hours..... I am tired.

Re: Virgin Birth

Of course, I am completely in love with my Savior. I also know that what you say is completely preposterous.

Re: Virgin Birth

Why is it so preposterous? It was late last night and I forgot to say..... If your answer is "nope" then why is it no?

Re: Virgin Birth

I've always had a problem with the virgin birth idea...

I knew some insects could do it, but not birds and sharks, too...

interesting...

I still don't believe Jesus was born that way, though... It makes Mary a freak, and I'm not having anyone say Our Lady was a freak!

I was of the opinion that virgin in her case meant- innocent, pure, virginial, not- never got jiggy with Joseph...

so, unless she was a shark underneath that cerulean blue tunic, and unless she was a hermaphrodite and self impregnated herself, she was no virgin!

(sorry Mary)

Re: Virgin Birth

You do not even consider the most COMMON solution that she was loose and slept around?

Oh no Joe... I have no idea how I am pregnant... It must be a divine blessing..... The milkman thinks so too...

(Not sorry Mary.)

You call a holy situation freaky? Never forget he was 100 percent God and man is more than an animal.

Re: Virgin Birth

Well no, man is merely an animal with too much intelligence for it's own good....

He was 100% god? Interesting.

The existence of the soul pretty well eliminates that argument... and then there is Creation.
