Being anything this is not something I would consider.

Pushed hard enough, you could be worse than me.

Women torture men every day, we're just used to it.

I'm glad you know what you can and can not be capable of. I'm a soldier, and I'm not that absolutely certain of my own capacity. That is why I lean on God for guidance and wisdom, grace and compassion.

May God guide all soldiers to know the difference between right and wrong and lead them on the path of compassion.

What kind of information do they usually ask for?

Where have you been?

Who with?

Why are you later than I think you should be?

Did you look at that woman in the market?

Ah, you forgot some things...

"What did you buy? WHY. How come you're late, what's that smell, I thought she meant nothing to you, how much did you drink? I don't believe you, Why are you talking to her, nevermind, you're on the couch tonight. I thought we were exclusive, never mind what I said about dating around, who is she, what does she got that I ain't got. You're in trouble. Fine...(followed by weeks of silence)...."My mother will set you straight...DADDY!"

Re: Torture is OK say 1 in 3

lol, lovin' u, 17th...

but bk to the post...

have I ever been tortured? yes
Have I ever tortured another? yes
Have I been a witness to torture of others? no

in the first instance, I didnt deserve it, or enjoy it, in the second instance, I enjoyed it immensely, and the person did deserve it...

I have never witnessed the torture of another without doing the torturing or being the torturer, must just be unlucky/lucky in that regard...

torture is sometimes acceptable, I think, yes... although, there are differing degrees of torture, and although blood and guts is visually the most appealing, the best and most long lasting forms are psychological versions...

lol. Imagine torturing someone to get what you want by making them feel utterly miserable. It'd be fun. But I think I would prefer doing it in a computer game, a simulation. I don't want to risk losing my friends because of something horrible I did.

Your friends are all dead.

Your friends hate you.

Your friends are not going to come and save you.

You're hopeless.

You are nothing. You will never amount to anything. Shame on you.

This is what your friend, Sam, said about you. You're all alone now. Your friends have all left you. Even Sam doesn't want to have anything to do with you now.

Your mother was a harper, slut and a tart.

Your father was a drunkard, philanderer, womaniser, dim-wit, dill-pot and utter nutcase. He died a broken man. You're going to end up just like him.

We're going to tell your friends what you did with that girl. Then your wife will leave you.

I'm going to destroy your life's work. Everything you've worked for during the past ten years. Your dreams will turn to dust. Unless you do what I say.

If you don't tell us what we want we'll tell your girlfriend what you've been up to and she'll never forgive you.

Torture, 1 in 3? Maybe. Only if I can justify it (the person deserves it) or else I can get away with it.

Naive how I assumed the statistic I quoted would have caused unanimous consternation.

...one is for pleasure, the other's for fun. Do not relenquish either of them under any circumstances, but for inspection by the proper authorities...
