This is an approximate chronological list of when the specific books of the New Testament,their sources, and commentaries were actually written, as opposed to canonical sequence (Synod of Alexandria et seq), which was done to give the illusion of a coherent narrative, instead of being a collection of disparate sources.

It includes apocrypha, Gnostics (not all, but a reasonable sample), NT books and commentaries by Church Fathers. It doesn't account for interpolations as such. I have omitted a speculative 'Pre-Markian' passion narrative, since its existence is extrapolated from Young's Literal Translation, and has limited historical basis, since no manuscript has ever been found. In its existing form, and in the absence of any concrete data, it could only be accurately dated to sometime pre-65 AD.
