The Winter Solstice

In the Northern Hemisphere, tomorrow (21st Dec) is the Winter Solstice. In the year circle, from this day on, the Yang Qi will increase day after day. The Winter Solstice is important for a Gongfu practitioner, if you practice well in the just beginning of a year circle, the effect will be much better than normal. So if the condition is OK, a Gongfu practitioner will do nothing else but practice intently all day tomorrow.

Re: The Winter Solstice

Thanks for the reminder - I nearly missed it.

I'll try to remember to spare some room in a hectic life for less animate thoughts and a more peaceful focus.

no need to be hemispherical, much love to our neighbors below the belt celebrating the longest day of the year!

Is it on solstices or equinoxes we balance eggs on their ends?
