Re: the scary thing about me

Futhermore......

If john takes the path of study.... He comes to god... This is good MW.
Jane took the path of love.... She found god..... This is good MW.
Corky, had a path.... faith... He found god, this, is good MW....
lil 17 let's say was inspired by something else.... If he found god. Isn't that good?

After decades of research this is actually not found to be so. Major university studies have shown that focused, controlled psychedelic drug experimentation has very clearly lead folks on the a path similar to and or superseding conventional religious experiences.

Now I am in no way condoning street drug use or personal experimentation.
But in controlled lab environments, under a doctor's care hundreds of people have been issued exacting amounts of entheogenic substances and the almost unanimous end result is they come out not only realizing a oneness with all people, all the universe and the creator, but also have no need to repeat the session. This is a long last revelation experience, but the amount and environment are critical....hence the personal experimentation leads to varied results, like becoming a habitual user, addict or overdose.

Many have experienced similar in their drug experimentation, but the risks are great as those who have succeeded are exponentially few compared to those who have not. Anyone read Remember Be Here Now, by Ram Das?

I have never taken drugs 17th so really cannot say what I would or not feel, think or remember. However if you remember the stuff you read when you are stoned then I shall get you the Quran and send it to you - some reading for when you are stoned.

If that feeling remains with you when the drugs wear off then yes, it is very good. We each find G-d in our way 17th and each have our path to walk, maybe yours is just a little more laid back than mine.

Great info thank you Wil, drugs is something I know nothing about (other than my husbands struggle to kick them, which alhamdolillah he has now done). One thing I do know is that the brains ability to function seems to lessen with sustained drug use. My husband used to have real problems just thinking straight but now his mind is clear and sharp, he is also fasting ramadan this year - without any nagging from anyone, all his own choice.

The scary thing about me ...... I am a Muslim Well that seems to scare everyone for some reason!!

I have never seen a more potent drug than religion

Re: the scary thing about me

Laughing at me or with me is allowed.. Laughing is the spring of life.... So get your fill My aim is to get people to either laugh with me, if I can't do that I'll try me best to get them to laugh at me...... Which, looking at it isn't too hard
