If you refuse to respect me as another human who follows Christ, then I feel I must. btw, you're not hated by me, just viewed as being a bit self righteous in your attitude. Of course, I am the same way at times. Only, I try to repent when I see it in me. Much Love, |

I respect you, I just dont agree with you. and I was called to adhere to what Christ taught me. [It's all I got] Got it from what...feelings or the Bible? If the Bible, where in the Bible? or did they just not understand his speach? And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. You do know thats speaking about election and how only God's sheep will hear His voice, right? I'll leave this thread now, Silas. If you refuse to respect me as another human who follows Christ, then I feel I must. I respect you as a fellow human and care for your soul cause I dont want anybody in Hell. So yeah, I tell you the truth: Follow God the way He designed and not your own way. Remember, its God's will be done. btw, you're not hated by me, just viewed as being a bit self righteous in your attitude. Of course, I am the same way at times. Only, I try to repent when I see it in me. Most people I preach to say that. The funny thing is, I'm probably worse than you since I sin knowing the truth, at times. But ultimatly, Im NO different than any sinner, I have NO idea why God saved me. I should have been curshed forever ago. I dont hate you either. I only hate my flesh, since its so sinful. All that said, I never understand why people call Christians (Real ones) self rightoues. They're always the one admitting their guilt before God and Need for Christ. |

Re: The Love of God
I have Christ, and God, and Spirit...What more do I need? My views come from the Bible, [it inspires me] but the Bible is not what transformed me; it was God, Christ, and Spirit that did that. If you knew me five years ago, you'd be singing a different tune. A great work has been done in my life, and I will continue to grow as I age. I am truly thankful for my salvation through God, Christ, and Spirit, yet you want me to believe that it's all insignificant because I don't see things your way. I Love ya man, but I know my path is straight, and what straightend it.
Love, |

Re: The Love of God
It wasn't me who changed it, and that is what you must understand. If I could do it, I would have done it long ago. It wasn't until I embraced the Love God had for me that I changed, man. Christ led me to that Love, and I recieved it in Spirit. God knows the heart of man, he knows mine, he knows yours, and he is faithful, merciful, and just. I trust him, Silas and have faith in what he gave me. That's enough for me...
Much Love, |

I believe God works in the heart of Man, not in the heart of the religion. Recall Jesus's statement that the Sabboth was made for Man, and not Man for the Sabboth. So too, religion is merely a vehicle to point to the heart of God. |

Re: The Love of God
Religion is man's best attempt to reach up to God, but they always fall short for there is none even good in the eyes of the Lord. But praise be to God for even while we were yet dead in sins and trying to appease God with Good works, Christ came and fulfilled what God reqired of man - doing good works with pure and perfect motives every time and essentially living a perfect life and then dying a perfect sacrifice to pay the price for all sinners who would repent and place their trust in Him.
