I respect you as a fellow human and care for your soul cause I dont want anybody in Hell. So yeah, I tell you the truth: Follow God the way He designed and not your own way. Remember, its God's will be done.

Most people I preach to say that. The funny thing is, I'm probably worse than you since I sin knowing the truth, at times. But ultimatly, Im NO different than any sinner, I have NO idea why God saved me. I should have been curshed forever ago. I dont hate you either. I only hate my flesh, since its so sinful. All that said, I never understand why people call Christians (Real ones) self rightoues. They're always the one admitting their guilt before God and Need for Christ.

I doubt. All the ones in the Bible that preached get the samething I get, including Jesus. I think its due to the whole "the world love darkness and hate light" thing, you know?

I have Christ, and God, and Spirit...What more do I need? My views come from the Bible, [it inspires me] but the Bible is not what transformed me; it was God, Christ, and Spirit that did that. If you knew me five years ago, you'd be singing a different tune. A great work has been done in my life, and I will continue to grow as I age. I am truly thankful for my salvation through God, Christ, and Spirit, yet you want me to believe that it's all insignificant because I don't see things your way. I Love ya man, but I know my path is straight, and what straightend it.

Not at all Cage. I'm not at all dobuting your salvation. I dont know your heart bro and Im not in the least trying to come off as I do. Im just saying to "make your calling and election sure," as the Bible tells us to do. We dont want to stand before God and hear "depart from me I never knew you" from Jesus. That would suck, not to mention be scary. Im just saying, Yes I know you may have changed your life and all that. Thats great. But, Muslims do it, Buddhist do it, Hindus do it, JWs do it, athesist do it, etc., but none of them have Christ' righteousness, which is the only way we can see God. Make your calling and election sure, bro!

It wasn't me who changed it, and that is what you must understand. If I could do it, I would have done it long ago. It wasn't until I embraced the Love God had for me that I changed, man. Christ led me to that Love, and I recieved it in Spirit. God knows the heart of man, he knows mine, he knows yours, and he is faithful, merciful, and just. I trust him, Silas and have faith in what he gave me. That's enough for me...

It could also be that people find it annoying and disrespectful towards them. Just because your path features considerable resistance along the way, doesn't necessarily mean it's the right one, or the wrong one for that matter.

I also think that this should be moved to the Christian forum.

Seek those things that produce the loving nature of Jesus in our lives. I would rather have the wrong facts and a right attitude, than right facts and a wrong attitude. God can change my understanding of the facts in a moment, but it often takes a lifetime to effect changes of attitude.

I believe God works in the heart of Man, not in the heart of the religion. Recall Jesus's statement that the Sabboth was made for Man, and not Man for the Sabboth. So too, religion is merely a vehicle to point to the heart of God.

Religion is man's best attempt to reach up to God, but they always fall short for there is none even good in the eyes of the Lord. But praise be to God for even while we were yet dead in sins and trying to appease God with Good works, Christ came and fulfilled what God reqired of man - doing good works with pure and perfect motives every time and essentially living a perfect life and then dying a perfect sacrifice to pay the price for all sinners who would repent and place their trust in Him.
