The Lord's Army
Read about this on Teletext this morning, so I sought it out on BBC online.
Essentially we have a Christian terror group calling itself "the Lord's Army" running around Uganda, kidnapping children for use as trainee soldiers and sex slaves. Quite an astonishing sickness. Here's a link: Schoolgirls taken by Ugandan rebels |

Re:The Lord's Army
I saw something on the news this morning that said the children had been rescued along with a lot more. About 250 was the number I remember. Can you trace more detail on that?
And yes it's thoroughly sick what's going on but I bet it's not a direct religious cause but just another brutal political one. |

Re:The Lord's Army
Again, sorry for the late reply - I like to keep track of the stories I post, but I've been very lax.
And, yes, you're right - a happier ending in this instance: Uganda army rescues children |
