the infinite genie

the infinite genie

if we asked for an infinite amount of wishes...

what if the infinite genie granted to everything and everyone their wish ~ would it mirror reality? i mean you would wish for riches lovers etc, yet everyone would wish for that, hence it would be a comparative granting of all wishes, one persons wish would be granted against another, so we would still be in the same place.

i ask this because i believe that if we want something we can ask for it and it will try to happen and often will. however, the greater the effect of the wish the less likely it is to come true, this due to the reflection upon the infinite set of wishes being granted.

so can simply asking for something to happen make it happen to some degree?

Re: the infinite genie

aaaahhhh, wishing and hoping.......... NO, I think that if you truly wish for something....... work out a way to do it yourself. You might end up getting a bit of help on the way........ or not......... but at least you are trying to do or get it......
Its like when you see someone sitting on the side of the highway with a sign or having their thumb out hitchhicking. I drive past and think , good luck. but, if there is a different person hitchhiking and they are walking along (with their thumb out)... I think, good on ya, at least you are going to get there, no matter how long it takes....... understand? oh, well, thats my view on things.

Re: the infinite genie

oh of course. how stupid do you think i am??? A few years ago a friend of one of my cousins picked up a hitchhiker, (it was raining and she felt sorry for the young fella) as soon as he got in, he pulled a knife, made her drive 3 hours away into the forestry dumped her and her 2 yr old child off and stole her car. We believe she wasnt attacked worse because of her baby......
and I know he was the driver,,,,,, but you ever heard of Ivan Milat?? and those british backpackers in the NT? I could go on and on.......

Re: the infinite genie

Wishing does nothing..... Doing, does everything.

If we all had as many wishes as we wanted this planet would be more hazardous and unstable than it already is lol.

Grey: The hell is it with you and Milat? You talk about him on like a weekly routine lol.

Re: the infinite genie

Many years ago...... something like ten, before the year 2000, in an off road country place, I found the ultimate junk shop, owned by an American ex-service man who still wore the uniform like a member of the twilight zone. This place had everything under and on top of everything, things, bits of things and.......... I found the lamp of Aladdin, have it still. The truth about these magic lamps is...... the wish can only be for the benefit of life in pure form, or it is returned as tarnished as a lie.

Peace, love, understanding, compassion...........

It is filled with the fuel of love.

And yes it works....... if you believe in the manifestation........

The secret is in the right fuel to light the genie.

Re: the infinite genie

this idea is a metaphor of course, the way i am seeing things these days is that reality is a great communications device where everything ‘talks’ to everything else. this is much like the way our minds work where thoughts can be seen as like laws or dimensions directing nature [the body]. to this equation i add the naked truth which belongs to all things beyond our subjective perception etc etc, all in all i don’t see why certain kinds of thoughts are particularly different to laws, it just that we cannot control physics as it is already being controlled.

i see what you are saying greymare, if you don’t act to make things real then they will not arise. in my own experience i asked for a woman like my wife and that is what i got and by pure ‘coincidence’. i ask for simpler things all the time usually answers to philosophical dilemmas, then an answer appears to just become manifest in my mind.

so if i were to say it is like ‘the act becomes real’ then we should put much emphasis on the ‘act’ part of the equation. an act though is also a manifestation of the mind.

ciel, i agree about the right fuel to make things manifest, it is all about keeping things simple and specific in a way that affects the least amount of things/people. if you want big ideas to become manifest then they have to be on par with the wishes of the multitude.

of course there is a negative side too, dictators feed of the wills of millions ~ where many people may have sympathetic ideals as part of their moral basis, this can be attuned to the will of an individual. we saw that with hitler he grabbed the right wing tendencies of the masses and enhanced it eventually to the point where their uncertainty with taking such things fully on are washed away.
