The Buddha on the Box

The BBC is currently showing a 6 part series called History of India, by the historian Michael Wood. Part 2 was essentially about the life, times and teachings of the Buddha, and was jolly good (could save you a lot of money travelling around the different sites!). It also touched upon the caste system, Jainism, King Asoka, Alexander…
I mention it just in case the programmes get repeated, uploaded to Youtube, shown on another channel or made available on WAP enabled Bilberries, or whatever it is that’s going on in the world now.
