Re: the 2nd day...
Maybe he said it wasn't good because he had created the atmosphere and oxygen - then he knew that there was no going back - he had set it all up for life and then eventually "Us" and he knew where that would lead ....and that wasn't good

![]() (If I may briefly digress...)Today's Hint from Heloise At least where Levis are concerned, I've found a solution to that. Try on a pair that fits, then note where it's assembled (Honduras, Dominican Republic, etc), then, no matter where you buy Levis, make sure they come from the same place. |

Re: the 2nd day...
hey dondi,
ok, let me rephrase, it's not the 2nd day being called good that concernes me, as so much as the heaven not being called good, you know? Quote:
Quote:
2nd day: heaven.... 3rd day: the formation of the land and seas, good. that's 2. then the land produced vegetation, good. that's 3. 4th day: the formation of stars, sun, and moon, good. that's 4. 5th day: the formation of water creatures and flying creatures, good. that's 5. 6th day: creatures that move along the ground, good. that's 6. man formed,"...And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good."that's 7. 7th day: Genesis 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. now something occured to me yesterday when i was reading Genesis, heaven was formed on the 2nd day but wasn't procaimed good, yet, right? well, look how big heaven is to begin with. it wasn't proclaimed good because he wasn't done with heaven until afterwards, specifically at the end of the 6th day. am i prosetilyzing, yet? if so, let me know, thanks. God bless you. |

Re: the 2nd day...
Maybe it was just a bad day for him? Just cause your an almighty perfect so an so... that doesn't mean you won't have bad days...... Or Maybe on the 2nd day he wasn't being as much of a perfectionist as he normally is... I find it in seriousness interesting though and dissapointed that I didn't notice that....

Re: the 2nd day...
Gen 1 has sometimes been described as prohetic for Gen 2, in other circles I've heard that Gen 1 was thought and Gen 2 manifestation which allowed for the differences between the two.
Are you seeing both Gen 1 and Gen 2 as prophetic? I'm assuming you mean prophetic as in the coming of the Christ, or could it also be seen as not actual manifestation but allegorical prophecy of evolution? |
