Basically the watchword for Baha'is is the concept of unity and what we call the three oneness: Oneness of God, Oneness of humanity and Oneness of the world's great religions and that they have a common Divine Origin.

And for starters, the correct spelling is Baha'i. If it'll help, "baha" means "glory" and the suffix forms the adjective, so that "Baha'i" literally means "of Glory."

The pronunciation is "ba-HIGH." (Actually, it's really "ba-HIGH-ee," but we lazy Americans tend to take the easy way out and just use ba-HIGH instead.)
