Suggestion for new forums

Suggestion for new sub-forums for the "alternative" section :

1. Asatru
---------
Asatru is the revival of Wotanism, the Nordic religion. It is gaining popuparity, especially amongst European nationalists. It is also related to Odalism, which is a revival movement of the entire pre-Christian European lifestyle.

About Asatru : - http://www.runestone.org/flash/home.html , http://www.thetroth.org/
About Odalism : - http://www.heathenfront.org/

2. Wicca
---------
Wicca is a new age religion. It's a combination of christian-humanist values, feminism and supposebly pagan rituals. I don't think it needs much more of an explanation. I think a seperate subforum would be fit, as wicca and asatru for instance are very different.

3. Church of satan (LaVey satanism)
------------------------------------
The church of satan does not worship the devil. It is about the abolition of dogmatic thinking and the embrace of ones light side as well as ones dark side. LaVey satanists do not believe in a difference between good and evil. They believe that all thoughts are good thoughts, in the one having those thoughts believes they are. They believe that all actions are good thoughts, in the one doing those actions believes they are. They believe that following ones instinct is always just.

The church of satan was named this way by its founder. It was meant as an anti-reaction to christianity and humanism and therefor he chose this devlish name. Another reason for the devlish name, is to scare away those who are not openminded enough for these beliefs. The church of satan is not for everyone, but its followers often are outstanding citizens, unlike what most people think. Unlike most people, a LaVey satanist never behaves in a hypocritical fashion and therefor always is honest. I'm not a satanist myself, but I've met some. In the Belgian metal scene, LaVey satanism is rather popular.

Re: Suggestion for new forums

Certainly I do need to revise the Alternative section - Avinash has highlighted this already - not least with regards to separating out Magick and Mysticism to having their own separate boards. There's maybe a place for a separate Wiccan forum as well.

Ultimately, though, the boards are usually created by demand. So if there are a lot of threads on a topic without it's own board, then a board will be created - and thus avoid having a forum with a wide-range of otherwise empty and non-posting forums.

So if there are a number of threads being created that address Asatru or CoS directly, then certainly there would be separate boards created for them. I'm just not convinced that there's any active call for them - not as yet.

But suggestions are certainly always welcome - and I'll see about adding the new boards later.

I understand. But new boards can lure new members, that otherwise would not become a member.

I'll remind that
