soon to be unemployeed

Namaste all,

as the title says, i'm about to lose my current employment.

i've been here for 7 and a half years and there is some sadness that it is ending this way.

you see... i have a medical condition which, on occassion, manifests to such a degree that i cannot go to the office. for the past 7 years, it hasn't been an issue. this year, however, it has become one.

at this point in time, the work environment has become hostile to me and my particular medical condition by which i mean to say that i am seemingly being singled out for special harrassment. the work place rules are being selectively applied to me and my situation.

due to my finiancial comittments, i've been loath to say much as i am not keen to have no income and, to that end, i've let this situation drag on for entirely too long.

today is the day that i am done.

i am concerned, of course, that i will be able to put food on the table and a roof over the heads of my family. to that end, i would ask any and all of my online friends to hold me in thier positive thoughts, prayers and meditations.

as the song says... every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end.

Harsh... . You and your family will be in my prayers. I have other friends who have struggled with chronic medical conditions and employment; it has not been an easy road. I hope you find a new and better door opening soon.

As I understand, you've been under treatment for several years. What did your doctor tell you ? There are no other treatments available ?
