very true indeed and welcoming Jesus as Gods reigning king is the thing to be doing .psalm 2.

notice that the psalm talks about AN EMPTY THING
What "empty thing" have the present-day national groups "kept muttering"?

Instead of accepting God’s Anointed One—the Messiah, or Christ—the nations have "kept muttering," or meditating on, the perpetuation of their own authority.

These words of the second psalm also had an application in the first century C.E. when Jewish and Roman authorities worked together to kill God’s King-Designate, Jesus Christ.

However, the major fulfillment began in 1914 when Jesus was installed as heavenly King. Since then, not one political entity on earth has acknowledged God’s enthroned King.

Re: sign of the times

"Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom," thats what Jesus said,

FIRST WORLD WAR IN 1914 the signs of the times have been happening since 1914.

"and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another." and we are well along into the signs of the times right now.

"All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress." (Matthew 24:7, 8)

critical times hard to deal with 2 timothy 3;1-5

I maybe reading too much into the small post of simply four letters, but I feel as if Wil was trying to make a statement, that your long post previous his post was a more complex way of simply saying what would jesus do? I dunno lol.... That's what I get.

Re: sign of the times

There are many reasons to witness from house to house.

Each time we call on a householder, we try to plant a seed of Scriptural truth.

By making return visits, we seek to water it. And there can be a fine cumulative effect, for Paul wrote: "I planted, Apollos watered, but God kept making it grow." (1 Corinthians 3:6)

another part of the sign in matthew 24;14 and it is GOODNEWS .

To save time, instead of pasting little bits here and there, why don't you just paste it all in one post? Seems strange.

"The increasing of lawlessness" is another noteworthy feature of the last days. (Matthew 24:12)

"Having no natural affection." (2 Timothy 3:3)

"Without self-control." (2 Timothy 3:3) the amount of people being stabbed to death with no thought at all for people is very bad now . even babies and old people are stabbed, there is no natural effection at all in the minds of those stabbers

"Fierce." (2 Timothy 3:3)

What has that got to do with it? lol... What I am saying is you make way too many uneeded posts... The previous like what 12 posts could have made one average size post, but ou like drop a post per second with one sentence and then carry on, but in another new post.... Point in that apart from making too many pages? lol...

for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. matthew 24;21

If, as Jesus advised, we read the Scriptures with discernment, we will not fail to take note of what is yet ahead.

We will also think seriously about its implications in our own lives.
