Review my blog?
I hope it is okay if I put the link for my blog here? I only created it yesterday and am seriously struggling with lack of technical knowledge. I am really pushing to get my website finished as time back home is running out fast, hence not so much posting for a few days.
If anyone would look at my blog and comment on look, function (not that I could change it ) or content, I would be very grateful for your views. Please don't be polite, I need to get this right.Dabbling in Dating Thanks and salaam MW |

Re: Review my blog?
Sal...As we used to say in Chicagah..."it's a weiner, and I want everything on mine !"
I wouldn't change anything right now, especially your bio. Let's just say that if I had anything to advertise in the UK, I'd want it to be on your site. Lots of lonely people out there sweet thing...go for it ! You are a very good writer, by the way. Maybe with what you'll earn on the site you'll be able to hire a few pixies for your dirty work. flow.... ![]() |

Re: Review my blog?
Thank you so much Flow. I have tried to write an article for weeks and got nowhere fast. Yesterday I thought just be yourself and pretend you are talking to a friend - I hope that comes across?
Now I just have to get people to read my ramblings and post comments, so head in the SEO books tonight. So pleased you like it. ![]() |

Re: Review my blog?
Hi Sally,
Well I really like its directness and honesty, though it might scare away the faint hearted at the start!! It's a good beginning but as you know better than me it has a long way to go!! I have bookmarked it and will watch its development with interest and tell you the truth about what I think. Good luck ![]() Tao |

Re: Review my blog?
Do you think I would be better to keep that post for later and do a light hearted one to start with?
Well it can only develop at the speed of my learning, which is vverrry slllooooww when it comes to technical stuff, so if anyone has any tips or hints they would be VERY welcome, as I am in uncharted water here. Thanks for looking Tao. |

Re: Review my blog?
Hi MW...No I believe that in writing and in life you make your way the best by showing people what you're about up front...of course unless you're a politician ( no wonder the world's so screwed up...these people are our leaders). But then that also depends upon what you believe your "way" is. Is it to make money, to satisfy a longing, to help others, to provide a needed service which is otherwise missing, all of the above ? These are the issues that every business person wrestles with. It is very hard to focus down on the essential elements sometimes, and your venture then goes off on tangents..
No, people are hungry for smart and experienced people to provide them with honest advice. On television you must provide that "image" to be successful. In writing you must project substantive honesty at all cost. I think if you drew people in with sweeetnes and light and then hit them with your truths later that they'd more likely be turned off. The true seekers will recognise the honesty of your words from the get go and stay around. My two cents. flow.... ![]() |

Thnks guys, I need all the input I can get - like add images, change the frog, make it pink with green stripes.
I will try to sort the text out today Francis, just me learning and making boo-boo's. Salaam |

Re: Review my blog?
Hey Sparrkie
Nice to 'meet' you and thanks for the input. I have just retyped it all so it is in the same font but yes it is very small. I have no idea how to change it, will do some studying tonight and see if I can work it out. Salaam MW |
