Smile Respect...

Respect is a word of innumerable meanings, from the simple to the intricate… We display the easiest of respect, ‘usually’, toward our loved ones and friends… We display the most considerate of respect with others who agree with us on whatever matters may be of the moment… We display the simplest of respect with small reactions of just saying thank you when appropriate; In just holding the door open for another, just letting another driver turn out onto the road from a side-street in front of us when traffic is backed up and our travel has been stalled for a while; But, respect can vanish unremembered and unrecognized in less than the beat of a heart when confronted with trial and tribulation. This then, is where our respect really comes to bear and is put to test. When not only trial and tribulation interplay's, but feelings and emotions, ingrained natures of distrust and disrespect long-past ingrained in us. Respect for those we find disagreement with, even ardently so. Respect for those who have done us harm or injustice, real or perceived.

In peace Bow…
