Rabbit

Here's an rather unusual video I came across. The animation is quite good. It'll be interesting to get everyone's viewpoint on it.
You can view it here.

Re: Rabbit

My take is that the idol is the sparks of human creativity, triying to harness it for profit. The dead animals perhaps represent the victimis of explotation?

Re: Rabbit

Cor blimey no idea but will tell you what went through my head. First I thought killing leading to corruption (wealth etc) leading to sin (idol worship, more killing, etc). Then by the end I could only think of kharma (what goes around comes around).

At the back of my head I could see the people trying to give the idol what they thought it wanted, a misunderstanding and then the wrath of the idol.

Make of that what you will.

Re: Rabbit

I see the idol as exploiting human greed. I found the slug angle interesting. He knew what was going on.

Re: Rabbit

I am thinking along the same lines as the previous posters, J.H.

It makes me think of "chasing rabbits" of material prosperity at the expense of everything else around us, and subsequently and finally ourselves. Reminds me of 'gaining the world, but losing the soul'.

I do wish I had not been partaking of breakfast when I watched the video. (It was toast and jam.) Maybe you could give us a heads up about these sort of things in the future, dear?

InPeace,
InLove
