Question Question About Tallitin

I had a Yarmulke and a Tallis that I was Bar-mitzvahed in and wore at my wedding. They were "lost" in a move by a bad moving company. What does the Jewish religion say about replacements and being buried with the Tallis that wasn't your original?

Re: Question About Tallitin

i don't believe it's a problem. these are garments that wear out, after all. i was barmitzvahed in my grandpa's silk tallit from india and that's really delicate now, so i got another couple, one for weekday and another for Shabbat and hagim. if you're really worried, consult a competent rabbi.
