its very true that how we respond to what the bible contains is from us . and that can be in a negative way or in a positive way. for those who apply and act on Gods word the bible it is most benifical indeed .

For all the things that were written aforetime were written for our instruction, that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope ROMANS 15;4

(2 Peter 1:19) Consequently we have the prophetic word [made] more sure; and YOU are doing well in paying attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until day dawns and a daystar rises, in YOUR hearts.

2 Ki. 21:6: “[King Manasseh] practiced magic and looked for omens and made spirit mediums and professional foretellers of events. He did on a large scale what was bad in Jehovah’s eyes, to offend him.” (Such spiritistic practices actually involved turning to Satan and his demons for help. No wonder it was “bad in Jehovah’s eyes,” and he brought severe punishment upon Manasseh for it. But when he repented and gave up these bad practices, he was blessed by Jehovah.)

Apprarently, according to a guy that delivers my milk, if you eat a bible at precisely midnight, in front of the mirror, you see the face of jesus.

Oh there are many like that ;\ I heard if you close your eyes and think words in your head... jesus is meant to hear them and perhaps answer them.. Think they said it was called praying.

ahem, this would be the same god that 'punished' the snake by telling him that he would crawl around on his belly for the rest of his days.

I understand what you mean it would be awesome to -know- mee, instead of knowing the JW's version of the bible... But, we have tried many times to get him out of his shell.... What can you do eh?

too me, there is nothing satanic, nor accessing the spirit world about ouiji boards or pendulums and the like, I believe we all have access to G!d, all knowledge, but we have issues listening and understanding, pendulums and ouiji boards are things that are designed to be tools to access that information.

Your innate being, within you you can 'hear' the answers and by using something to accentuate minor vibrations of your hands/fingers you amplify the result. of course there are plenty of charlatans and folks that will do anythign to take your money and there also exists the portion of you that thinks it knows the answer and self directs the results (the same portion of you that rejects the answer received if it doesn't coincide with what you believe)
