Opening the eyes of truth; revealing.

Below is a link to an old story Plato's Cave.

This shared what occurs when a paradigm shift begins to unfold.

The eyes of truth.

Reality has many facets. The reality of the "truth" within the cave, is no less significant than the "truth" without. At least with the cave, it exists as a point of departure.

"virtue was the most valuable of all possessions; the ideal life was spent in search of the Good. Truth lies beneath the shadows of existence, and that it is the job of the philosopher to show the rest how little they really know."
