Mysticism in Zoroastrianism
I'm doing some research on Zoroastrianism and I need some assistance on why Zoroastrianism has not developed mystical movements like those in Buddhism, Islam etc. What tenets of the religion prevent it from having mystical movements?
I've read that the Zoroastrian perception of human life and why we are here do not lead any significant portions of the group to mystical movements. Just what are some of these perceptions that might keep them from doing such? Thanks |
