Maxwell's Leadership Bible

I was given this Bible (John Maxwell's Leadership Bible) in 2003.

I liked it, it had a lot of good stuff in it. But so often I wanted commentary, historical, social, political etc...and/or comparisons with other texts..

So it sat on the shelf.

I grabbed it off the shelf on a whim to do the daily readings for Lent.

It's commentary is all about leadership principles found in the books.

Reminds me of Jesus CEO and The Millionaires of the Bible books...

I'm having a great time with it....anyone else use this Bible?

Anyone else have it sitting on their shelf?

NKJV with notes as to changes. One thing I don't lack 'round the house is KJV bibles... The big plus in this bible is the commentary on leadership skills....truly some thought provoking stuff to assist taking principles off the pages and into the workplace.

I'm now looking to find a parallel bible with the Message and different versions than my current parallel...so with two books open I can look at eight different versions. My preacher said his e-bible upgrade went to 28 versions he can contrast and compare...If I'm at a computer I just hit biblegateway.com for that...
