talking about intoxification, there is a great spiritual intoxification going on . and there are many spiritual drunkards out there. and they are called religious leaders .
and those religious leaders claim to represent the God of the bible . it is very similar to the days that ISAIAH spoke of .

And these also—because of wine they have gone astray and because of intoxicating liquor they have wandered about. Priest and prophet—they have gone astray because of intoxicating liquor, they have become confused as a result of the wine, they have wandered about as a result of the intoxicating liquor; they have gone astray in their seeing, they have reeled as to decision. isaiah 28;7

The spiritual drunkards of those ancient nations well foreshadow the spiritual leaders of today.

As a result, they have no true spiritual guidance to give. They vomit out uncleanness rather than speaking the pure message of truth. (Zephaniah 3:9) With their vision blurred and confused, they are no safe guides for mankind.—Matthew 15:14.

Intoxification: [en-toks-uh-fuh-kay-shun]

-noun

1. The state of being inebriated beyond sensible vocabulary.
2. Overpowering numbing of the faculties of proper thought and communication brought about by excessive consumption of alcohol, narcotics, religion, or television.

as in: <Homer, reeling with intoxification, taunted the police, yelling, "What's wrong, occifers??! Never sheen a naked white man before?">

[Origin: late 20th century/early 21st century]

Keeping weed illegal keeps the price down and the quality up. I hope it's never legalized.

Ya think? I always thought the variety and quality would go through the roof while the price would go through the floor. Even if they taxed it 400% I'd say the price would be less than 25% of what it is now.

In the late seventies when I was in high school quarter z cost $15. Now, thirty years later, the same QZ still costs $15. In 1978 the cost of a pack of cigarettes was about fifty cents. Today a pack of smokes is approaching six bucks. I rest my case.

Re: Marijuana

a story, any connection to known or unknown people, real situations or circumstances are purely coincidental

1973 back seat of a thunderbird with the connection. At the time pounds of mexican are going for a buck and a half, he wants three bills for something called columbian gold or four for panama red. I scoff we are getting fifteen a lid for seedy stemmy mexican, they'll never pay thirty or forty for this. They not only did but five years later were paying five times that much for an ounce of the sticky chrystaline seedless stuff.

Cost to grow the good stuff, utilizing clones and grow lights...2-3% of retail value. Move it outside to the hills of Appalachia or northern california mountains and the cost is about a half a percent, losses due to irradications, busts, thieves are all part of the cost of doing business in an industry that grosses more than any 'legitimate' crop and pays no taxes. Entrepreneurs making mid six figures with little time investment. If it was commercially farmed indoors or outdoors the profits would be significantly less for the growers, yet easily still substantial.
