Re: Knowledge.........you all have it

I'm not qualified to comment on that either, Wil. I did figure out what CoC means, though: Its either the Commission on Colleges, or a heavy-metal band called 'Corrosion of Conformity'.

(Its the Code of Conduct.)

even Islamis4u knows sooooooo much. and he is a student!!!!!. Maybe the reason for allthese different faiths is to see the amount of knowledge we can hold. Is there a religion for Dummies. My point I suppose is, that even if I wanted to, I couldnt learn some of the stuff you guys know. Its too hard. LOL. btw, dont feel sorry for me, its just an observation.
I sit back hereand try to follow some of the conversations,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ammazing.

If there is a god, and yes Im still asking, what does he do with you if you fail religion?

I failed at being a Baptist, which was the religion I was influenced by while I was growing up and over the years till I go to my 30s. I am not any good at being a Baptist. Never did ever even fit in and I tried hard to. Still don't fit into any churches anywhere around here in my town. Me and my girls have always been the odd ones out.

There is the key my Lovely sister... We try so hard to be what we are not... Rather than just be who we are, because we are so oh so truly super and beautiful.

If someone can not accept and Love us, for whom we are.. Well, then where is the truth? Where is the Love? We are just adding to the ever growing illusion of mankind. I decided not that long ago, to just say hey, here I am this is me... I hope you will accept me for who I is. Can you dig it?

I can dig it, bro ... I feel the same way

I'm pretty odd sometimes, and others don't always know how to take me, lol. I am what I am, and that's all I can be - Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

j/k

Everyone want to be accepted ...

Failure creeps up on us when we resist being who we are, me thinks. How can we accept others, when we can't accept ourselves? If others don't wish to accept who we are, then that is a loss on their part. [imo] We so often put on our makeup in hope of fitting in, and being accepted - for sake of being one of the crowd, but at what cost? Our true identity, perhaps? It is easy to lose ourselves while in pursuit of fitting in.

I've gotten to the point where I wear my soul on my sleave. I'm an open book for any to read - What's the point of hiding? I am who I am ... many don't understand me, but then there are some who do, and simply accept me - oddities and all. I have spent far too much time trying to fit in with certain religious groups, but I don't - that's not who I am. I am a unique individual, with a heart, and mind of my own.

Love

James

Jesus praised his heavenly Father for hiding certain truths from the "wise and intellectual ones" while revealing them to his disciples, who were by comparison like "babes." (Lu 10:21-24) .

For it is written: "I will make the wisdom of the wise [men] perish, and the intelligence of the intellectual [men] I will shove aside.
1 corinthians 1;19

no worries , the true God can use dumbies..................MEE

Well if I am all wrong and there is a "GOD" then I think he must be an "absent father". You can rest assured the Child Support Agency WILL find him tho!!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation through the comfort with which we ourselves are being comforted by God. 2 corinthians 1;3-4

i dont think he is absent he is right there .

For all the things that were written aforetime were written for our instruction, that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope. Now may the God who supplies endurance and comfort grant YOU to have among yourselves the same mental attitude that Christ Jesus had, that with one accord YOU may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. ROMANS 15;4

Moreover, may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and gave everlasting comfort and good hope by means of undeserved kindness, comfort YOUR hearts and make YOU firm in every good deed and word. 2 THESSALONIANS 2 ;16-17

Even though I walk in the valley of deep shadow,
I fear nothing bad,
For you are with me;
Your rod and your staff are the things that comfort me. psalm 23;4

Just saying...
Well you're welcome to your opinion of course but I was simply suggesting that a person with no religion would not be predisposed to referring to a creator deity as a "he."

Somehow I can't imagine that sex comes into the matter. Not every form of life is sexual. Aren't there other ways of getting things done? The whole male and female energy scenario is very human or at least vertebrate-centric.
