Re: is death a good thing?
After a Hectic we love to sleep, and we are happy to sleep, and never we asked question.
After a Hectic Life, this body is so tiered working for us, and now its wants some peace, now we are asking question. we are more sad to leave than grateful to this body that served proactively. "like a Professional". Death is inevitable, a sensitive transition period which i believe is great chance to knock out of the orbit of duality, But can We? Lets try. Good luck all! |

Re: is death a good thing?
that is right, dot. people don't realize it but does an animal fear death? nope. we as man are the only ones that do. animals know about God more than us humans do. when have you ever heard and animal cry, "why do i have to die?" never, they just do because they know it is the most natural thing ever. so yeah, we are the only ones that question death. serves us right for eating of the fruit of knowledge!

Sorry Leo but I can't agree with this statement. Animals that are being chased by other animals or by man will show biological signs of fear. Cows that go to slaughter will smell the death of other cows and become aggitated. Animals fear death, as any creature does - that is why they struggle surely?

Agreed, MW. In fact, the fear of death is the primary survival instinct for most animals. The rabbit who is digging in my garden sure can smell it. And rightly so.

Re: is death a good thing?
geez, soooorry guys! i am sorry for offending the animal lovers. look what i meant to say is that animals don't fear like us humans do. i am going to use a scripture to explain this:
Luke 12:22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. 23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. 24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? 25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? 26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? 27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? now, now, i know this ain't the christian forum, but Christ said it best. animals don't worry about dying of starvation, shelter, or losing one's possessions, yet man kills each other in the most selfish way just to keep on living. now when their life or man's life is in danger then yes, there is fear. that is natural. but you can't compare an animals reaction to fear to a man's. i take it you guys believe that animals know of good and evil like man does? ![]() |

Re: is death a good thing?
i think animals fear dying as any sane creature does. as for death itself, i think they are aware of it and fear it as anything fears the unknown, yet something tells me they have an instinct which tells them it is not the end. it's just the way they act when being killed, i mean why roll over and except the inevitable, why not fight to the last. also when a new born calf stands up for the first time - it knows it is a calf standing up for its first time, in a way as if it has done it a million times before - which i believe it has.
