introduction thread

I call myself Ert on most of the internet places I go. I was raised and live in a medium sized college town in the midwest. I come from a moderate Protesant Christian childhood. However it never actually took as far as having faith in the parts about the miracles, the God/Man nature Jesus or the Divine inspiration of the Bible. I neither believe nor disbelieve in any diety, religion , or anything supernatural. However, I am interested in religion as it seems to bring out the best and the worst in us.
