I wouldn't be surprised if one day that does indeed come to light. The Phoenicians are known to have gone places and venture much further than any other sailors of their era. They did not fear the sea, nor did they worry about falling off the edge of the earth...they knew it was round.

Take it from me, there's lots we haven't heard of yet that would answer a lot of questions about our past, but it's not time yet. I'm still waiting patiently.
