Improve vocabulary and feed people.
Ok so want to easily improve your vocabulary?
Or how about provide some rice to the needy of the world? How about both? the value of the internet, click thru advertising money!! FreeRice have fun. in five sessions I moved up 4 levels. They say rarely do folks score over 48 out of 55 levels. I'm wondering who here will be the first to go over (and stay consistently over ) 48. I've got some ideas... ps. I'm not close. |

Re: Improve vocabulary and feed people.
VOCAB LEVEL: 48
YOUR BEST LEVEL: 49 You have now donated 1500 grains of rice. 1500 isn't much is it? That was like playing Call My Bluff. And that isn't how you spell speciality. Bloody Americans. Sorry. I stopped cos I decided it was never going to end... s. |

Re: Improve vocabulary and feed people.
It's crap :\ lol game wise... You get one wrong you go down a point... To claim that point back you need to get 3 or 4 correct......
I just wanted to get the people a 1,000 grams of rice... Poor people... Then I saw Wil said no one gets over 48... lol.... How can I not? That is a challange.... Right to MY face! I decided to stop at a round number.... Pain in the buttocks getting there, but was worth it lol....![]() |

Now I didn't say no one, I said they said rarely...and youse guys are rare! (or folks that frequent this site are...) Ya done good, it isn't how many you score, (grains of rice that is) it is your participation in the total, which is AWESOME (meaning wonderful, great) Actually I think the method they are using is this new algorithm which finds your level accurately and quickly. In 10 questions they get you pretty close to an accurate vocabulary level, in a written test it would take a hundred questions to find out where you are. But as you take the test for a longer period of time your neurons begin firing into the old memory banks of word origins and all you've acquired and you begin to make good choice about words you actually don't know the meaning to if asked on the street. So your score slowly but steadily raises. Yeah, us yanks don't spell the way you do on that side of the pond. Go ahead make up your own game and send'em fish and chips! |

We eat fries. The White House cafeteria re-named them Freedom Fries. (barf - don't get me started). I don't know anyone who calls them French fries, they're just fries.

Re: Improve vocabulary and feed people.
They are still called french fries or fries and yes folks 'round here get quite weird sometimes...
but we eat the piss out of them they are our number one and two largest consumed vegetables. Fries and Ketchup give most Americans their entire daily vegetable intake. |
