Re: Ignore this.

They have these little writie things you sharpen, and then this thin flat stuff you point that sharpened thing on, and move it up and down and it makes marks. And, and, and, every once in awhile those marks can be made to mean something. Like, I don't know, maybe what you were thinking that you didn't want to forget?

Or as my momma used to say with a shrug, "Oh well, I guess it wasn't important."

Yeah I haven't been around for a while.

I wondered if anyone noticed.....

After two and a half years of logging on almost every week, I finally kicked the habit. Something distracted me. During that time this was the most favoured web site for discussions. I thought I was going to be hooked forever. I could spend hours here.

Now that I've returned for a visit, I can't say if I'll get hooked again. The discussions can be addictive....I prefer not to be hooked....I mean that was scary. I was possessed!

The danger is to start caring about what's being discussed. When I start caring, I start typing. I hope it's not happening even now. I hope this will be one of those stand-alone posts.

If I get into this again, it depends if I really want to allow myself to get hooked. If I've got lots of things to do, getting hooked would be bad timing. But I never said never again, so if you'd like to have me around don't lose hope!

I decided that this was the safest thread because there aren't too many "hot topics" being discussed. Not too intellectual, ideological or philosophical. Just some humour and entertainment, so I know I won't spend hours on this thread. Phew!

Re: Ignore this.

Hey Salty, I missed YOU. And whats wrong with being addicted to Cr. Things could be worse. Yes, my family was almost at "intervention" time with me. LOL. The only problem they have now is that when im on here, the teenager cant play WOW, ooooohhh so sad. LOL.
you might want to be careful saying that some of the topics are too intellectual, ideological or philosophical, SOME people work very hard at trying to convey that message. LOL. not me, but you get my drift. LOL. anyway, hope to keep bumping into you..............
