there sould be a limit enforced to starting more than 10 threads in one day.

Re: I say

Namaste EM,

your plea falls not upon deaf ears.

cut and paste lectures are not in the spirit of "dialog" which this forum revolves around but it is quite possible to have many different topics in which you may want to discuss something... not an easy thing to moderate, imo.

metta,

Re: I say

10 threads a day...

I think I've seen someone start many threads in one day before...

Many that I read, and responded to.

It only took two threads this time to realize unless someone else started a conversation regarding the OP, I'd not be reading the rest of them...

Does loss of bandwidth affect global warming??

I haven't any plans to set up anything in the software, as it's a pretty rare event - but I have sent someone a PM telling them if they start anywhere near that number a day again, they'll al be removed, and him with it.

Re: I say

The more threads the merrier I say. The uninteresting ones fall off the front page and I never think of them again. If I have to start scrounging back to previous pages because someone's spammed the entire front page I'll bitch, but you never know what might be interesting to me late at night so leave the dead posts alone, Okay?

Re: I say

The threads were left up in this instance, but if any single member decides it's their job to start 20 threads a day explaining why they should be accepted as a prophet, I'll probably take a dim view of that.

As I scrolled down the page and saw Brian's comment I just knew you were coming next.

At least you didn't suggest Timmy Mallet was a prophet.

Re: I say

Does that mean CR is a non-prophet endeavor?

In the U.S. CR would technically be a Section 501 C 3 tax exempt organization. Thankfully, it's in Scotland where prophets are allowed.

I think that not only are they allowed but if a new one doesn't appear every week they call out the army and declare a national emergency.

Doesn't mention it on this site, but I have also cross references that he forsaw the Rise of Osama bin Laden...... On that subject... Wow, isn't his neice... Like... Wow.... lol.... OH and jesus!! he knew he was coming! Some may argue he wasn't even born when most of this happened, but surley that goes to show how skilled this man is! He knew and he wasn't even born when it happened, the guy is a freaking legend...... He has also for seeeeeeen that Jimmy Savile will fix it for me to own the playboy mansion... So we're all looking forward to that one.
