hymns

I dont know if we have covered this before...... i had a look but couldnt find anything......
I remember recently one of the nuns that used to teach us. Sister Julia, is her name. I heard this Hymn recently again and I remembered her. I had to share this with you guys, sorry. lol. "How Great Thou Art".... I think that was the name of it.......... anyway, Sister Julia had the most powerful and beautiful voice and sometimes i swear I can still hear her singing. Actually, one of my customers at work was humming the tune, i recognised it and straight away I thought of her (sr julia). Now i cant get it out of my head.. I love music generally , as we all do, but for me, ME to have a hymn stuck in my head is funny as.........

anyway, whats your favourite hymn? Or what Hymn reminds you of stuff...... would you like to share???

Re: hymns

"Great is thy faithfulnes... morning by morning, new mercies I see..."

Makes me think of the oceans tide and a great cup of coffee. (Not together.) Oh, and the sunrise.

Re: hymns

Absolutely gorgeous, s.g.

Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing...

... prone to wander,
prone to leave the God I love.
Here's my heart Lord, take and seal it,
Seal it for thy courts above.

I can go all kinds of places with that, what does it make you think of?
