Re: Humans. Are They Getting Nicer?

I see.. thanks for looking into it! But I did say we use a much bigger part of the brain, I never said we use more brain power, it was that part I was unsure of.

No worries, sounds to me the exhibit needs to be a little clearer...and you weren't the only one that saw it differently than they intended...

Re: Humans. Are They Getting Nicer?

So we use the largest area of the brain to process information associated with religion. But how can we define religion? And does religion relate to every other aspect of life? As you see it doesn't take much before science itself starts becoming philosophical. Hypothesis is scientific term for philosophy.

And just to add a bit of a pro-Baha'i statement in here, Baha'is believe that true science and true religion correspond and that mankind has a standard spiritual nature.

How long will it be before we discover that useless brain mass is actually doing something more significant. My biological teacher told me that unless brain mass doesn't exists otherwise we would have got rid of it. People in history and even today remove themselves from a sexual life in favour of a religious life, thats strange dont you say, when looking at people from a biological perspective?
