And yes, I really like the muslim "asalaam alaikum" (sp), too!

Does the greeting truly make a difference... Prober, we are having a debate, you have just posted a very passionate answer then I reply...

Oh wow Prober! So lovley to see you, awesome awesome, peace be with you..

First I would like to state your answer was pathetic and you have no clue what you are saying it isn't freaking X it's freaking W! I can't believe you would even consider X! DUH!

Which sinks in more? My greeting? Or my response?

STOP IT! You're cracking me up.

Of course, what a person is saying is more important. Juan's greeting (IMO) just demonstrates that he is coming from a good place. Do you agree?

And, if you start out nice, maybe it's harder to argue meanly.

(Stupid dumbass moron, How are you? I am fine. Last summer, in band camp...I...)

Yeah bruddah..In the Hawaiian Islands they're called Mola Mola.
1-2,000 lb specimens are not all that unusual I've heard.

And oh yeah..your new avatar reminds me of my behavior patterns in my first marriage. Definitely Hitlery, as a wise man once said.

flow....

I've always been fascinated by large sea creatures and ones with lights on their heads! I used to want to be a deep sea diver with the long hose and lead boots, etc.

I even tried to do the Cousteau thing in my granny's swimmin' hole with a 50-foot garden hose! Didn't work...came up coughing and sputtering.

Ummm, that's because your lungs are designed to work at 14.7 lbs per square inch. Once you go into an "atmosphere" that is 25 times thicker than the one you were born into, everything changes. At 10 feet below the surface of the sea your lungs are subjected to 20 PSI external pressure. At 20 feet they are subjected to 25 PSI, and at 30 feet - one atmosphere. That is uh, negative pressure. That is why we can't "snorkle" any more than three feet below the surface of the sea, on the merits of our own diaphragms...we need a little help to equalize the pressure inside to meet that on the outside.

How do I know? Been there, done that, own the tee shirt. I got so mad at choking on a garden hose that I had to find out what else we couldn't do (and what we could).

NO WAY!

That's awesome! Yeah, wish I'd known then what I know now. Never knew that first part you said, just that it didn't work.

I also know you can't jump off the garage with an umbrella for a chute! Well, you can, but...
