"his voice as the sound of many waters."

I find that quote fascinating. ![]() There are references in the scriptures of water meaning the Word of God. This verse from Revelations (imho) is referring to the principle of Progressive Revelation, to be revealed at the second coming. Below I have posted verses from several scriptures referencing water. Imho, It appears to be the same message, the same Voice, renewed throughout the ages. Enjoy, and discuss (nicely). ![]() Quote:

Re: "his voice as the sound of many waters."
The image of Christ in verses 1:12-16 is pure paganism, combining many gods worshipped in the area and Jesus Christ. The seven candlesticks are the seven sacred planets. The golden girdle about the breasts (paps) belongs to Aphrodite (Venus). The white hair belongs to Father Time, Kronos (Saturn). The blazing eyes are the wide seeing eyes of Zeus (Jupiter). The feet that “burned in a furnace” are actually mercury, sacred to Hermes (Mercury). The voice of many waters is that of the moon-goddess Selene, also a water goddess. He holds the sword of Ares (Mars) with the shining face of Helios (Sun). Jesus is a composite of the seven celestial gods. Also represented is the hierophant of the Phrygian mysteries complete with his divine insignias, the seven priests bearing lamps carrying the seven stars representing the seven schools of Mysteries.
