It took a month for me to start feeling sane again without the "insulation" that the weed gave me. I felt raw and exposed for a while until it finally left my system. One night about a month after I quit I noticed for the first time in what seemed a lifetime, my mind was so clear and sharp it was amazing!
When the fog finally lifts and you are experienceing life firsthand without the filters an amazing thing happens. But it's not for everyone.
LOL If you want to make it a compition go for it, I (with pride lol) Would bet money I have smoked more than most of the people from back in the 70's 60's.... I get through EASY 8 oz a month.... Average... Since I was 14..... Let's work that out....... That's like what 34kgs? 34 keys of weed..... :| On my own.... And I am sure there are quite some years ahead of me to raise that total.

No I -grow- good weed. (others would vouch for that lol) Now and then.... Example... Winter... I will buy in extra weight... But majority of the time it is my own. half oz a week? Yes I would say that is like a "social smoker" Also, you mix it with tobacco (tut tut) right?

It's the price I pay.... What can I say? This plant is divine.... And I cannot help but endulge.

But, if we go back to the main plot... I am addicted to it, but I wouldn't like want to claim a welfare for it... Or something like that, it is all my fault I created my addiction... Which is all it is... It IS NOT an illness.....

So you don't consider addiction a disorder?

Re: Hiding Behind Diseases

I understand you have no sympathy for the addict or alchoholic, but I take it you don't consider addiction a disorder.

That is true, and that is a disorder/malfunction whatever... Heh, BUT my smoking addiction is not a disorder... In my humble opinion..... That's all I am trying to say.... Yet it would be easy, very easy for me to attempt to use it as an advantage by saying it is an illness/disorder/diesease and use it as an excuse... I am not the excuse kind of person....
