Friends all over the world.

I have been doing some more thinking( yes it could be dangerous). I feel close to all you guys here on CR. I would just like to put out there to all of you. That I consider you friends. In my own little bubble here in Oz I try to keep up with world events etc. But If something is brought to my attention in England for eg I think oh heck I hope 17th and mw are Ok. Scotland, I think oh I hope Tao is allright. In the great usa, I find it hard to know where everyone is (geographically challenged) but I worry when I here about twisters and wild fires and hope none of my friends are in harms way. Just to let you know that I'm over here but I would notice your absence if you were gone. love the Grey

Re: Friends all over the world.

gotta love the net and the connections.

I truly believe this will affect our future relations, the kinships we share in common bonds and discussion...

If it is happening here, and it is, I've warned you all before to expect a PM requesting an address and then a knock on the door!!

If your map shows capitals of US states put me between Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay...if it doesn't east of Washington DC will be close enough.

And my offer still stands, anyone wants some crash space whilst visiting this nations capitol...you know maybe you'll come to see congress inaction (was that supposed to be two words, my bad), I've got floor.

yes, love the grey, and the rest of y'all too!

You are sweet Grey

I echo what Wil says....the web will change mankind and I hope in a positive way.

I did wonder tho.... what if you were to make like a "voodoo globe".... what might these pins do!!

Re: Friends all over the world.

Grey...like your outback down there in OZ, the colors out here are mostly reds, browns, oranges, beiges, and GREYS...so take yer pick sweetheart.

This is something for the boys and girls in the UK. Has anyone there heard of these goings on, and what do you think it means, other than maybe 17th doing some symbolic sort of artful naughtiness ?

Re: Friends all over the world.

snoopy, rugby, come on mate! Go the Wallabies. My Sterling Mortlock will smash you, you English Roses. haha. I love the name (Sterling Mortlock) sounds like its out of a Sci Fi novel. Soooo poweful. We are Tru Blu and we"ll be Waltzing your Matilda all over the field. lol

Tao, I would never Be into Voodoo. plus if I did put all the pins in of all my mates here at CR it'd explode. POP. I think its a good idea so I might change it to a Globe and use Sticky dots instead of pins. Is that harmless enough for you old mate,Tao? (gosh, u are always thinking of the world and not urself) lol
Hey Flow, nothing wrong with a bit of bulldust and rocks. My towns not really in the outback, its only 20 mins from the ocean. lol. But when I was a kid we used to holiday at Junday. (3 streets, one way 3 streets the other way) population ablout 50 people, 1200 emus and untold brumbies just wandering around the mulga. I used to be terrified of emus. they used to chase me. lol. (shudder) enough rambling. Im going to go now and purchase my world of friends. love the Grey

Re: Friends all over the world.

Tao...I've not seen the film, but my answer would be low cut dresses for females and tight pants for males...see... advertising ?

Grey...Sterling Mortlock !!! I think his mum watched that time machine film based on Wells' book a few too many times about the time of his birthing. The race of "Moorlocks" were squat, hairy, warty, brutish monsters who will live under the earth 20,000 years in the future and who husbanded and then ate the Elois who were shapely, beautiful, blonde, and blue-eyed boys and girls.

Snoopy...I posted that bit on another site I frequent and a friend on the site from Yorkshire informed me that an acquaintance of his who sculpts such heads out of found rocks and beach flotsam was doing it to promote his art gallery and his sculptures. But hey...you can do it also if it keeps you busy and out of the tub.
