For Whom Did Christ Taste Death?

The following is a sermon by John Piper dealing with a very controversial topic. Nevertheless, the sermon is a really good and interesting one. I would ask that you guys to give this a listen (especially those of you who are my family in Christ) and let me know what you think. Click here to listen.

Thanks,

Silas

Namaste Silas,

What people is he referring to that are in heaven and in hell right now?

I thought a literal interpretaion of the bible implied all are waiting in limbo for the second coming?

What 'church' did Christ so love that he refers to?

Nah, the audio isnt about any of that stuff. Its about the very tough topic of "limited atonment" or "particular redemption." Listen to the audio when u get some time. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

hehe me and you have already gotten into this subject.. I think we agreed to disagree because we werent glorifying God or edifying ourselves arguing about it and it wasnt a salvation issue.

Can I have some of what he is taking?
Now if you please exactly what doth thou intimate?
That you wish to partake in the ecstacy that he claims?
Thou thinketh he ingesteth something...
Nay, he not partaketh of manmade or earthly substance...
He hath been annointed with spirit
Tis this also what you seek?

La lengua prueba mejor con salsa caliente.

La ilustración es mejor con polvo humile.
