Re: Finish the sentence: "I love it when...."
I love it when I am still able to love in the midst of the darkness which surrounds us all.
Yes MW, when I first read that post by our friend it reminded me of the relativity of our real and physical existences, and that each day we can choose to love or hate our circumstances, which alone has the power to create or destroy life. Deb still teaches us even in her absence. Salaam my sister....flow.... ![]() |

I love it when we get all the lights up on the house and the tree and all the decorations out and everything looks so festive. Let the light dispel darkness.
Stickying this thread in honor of InLove/Deb. |

I love it when I discover a thread I never noticed before and it makes my day. I love reading about InLove and wheelchairs. I love thinking about the fact that she doesn't need one anymore.

...I think of InLove surrounded by the spirits of many animals and children who are waiting for loved ones or who were unloved on this plane of existence, sharing her generous heart, humor and wisdom beside her (S?)savior.

Re: Finish the sentence: "I love it when...."
I love it when Q argues with someone. I imagine him thumping his computer desk, ripping his hat off his head, throwing it against the wall (the hat) and yelling (in a manly voice) dagnmmit!!!!! Sorry Q. I also imagine Phylly covered in cats with just her eyes poking out. and Flow well dear Flow is lazing on the lounge getting groomed by our lovely feathered friend. 17th is in a darkened place with heavy music and clouds of opium filling the room. yeh, you know I am right 17th. Tao is high in his castle surrounded by Loch somethingorother. sorry guys. my imagination going astray again. ps. MW is in a tent, surrounded by embroided cushions, sheer curtains and is being guarded by omar sharif and Yul Brynner???? why is he there???

Re: Finish the sentence: "I love it when...."
I love it when it is Christmastime...
I love the spectacle I saw last Friday of a man in a full business suit completely letting go of his inhibitions and dancing to the folk music of a homeless guy who spends his days playing guitar by my office building. The homeless guy had a smile that was so big, it just broke my heart. I love seeing the little kids looking at all the dowtown store windows, bundled up in their snowsuits and mittens, with wonder in their eyes. I love being in a house full of my family, cooking and talking (very loudly, no less) and dancing to music and rejoicing in our time together. I love that my grandfather, since his death at Imbolc this year in 2007, has continually somehow caused it to snow whenever my eldest aunt wishes to feel his presence in that way, no matter the location or the unlikelihood of its doing so. At Christmas Eve candlelight service, we sung his favorite hymn, Silent Night, and we stood round our candle and cried and was glad he was free from pain. And the full moon stood overhead in a sky studded with stars... But the next morning, it snowed... much to our delight. Thanks, grandpa. I have no idea how he is now connected to the weather, but rainbows and snow have been really prevalent since his passing... beginning with the double rainbow when we scattered his ashes at Crazy Horse. There are so many I miss this Christmas... my grandfathers, my childhood pets (I lost my last two in October), InLove... And yet there is something beautiful as I reflect on their transformation... I love it when I know those in pain have finally broken free from all limitation, and are truly one with the Divine. |

I look to the future and the following year and make plans to make it an even better year than the previous one. And i always promise myself to start getting presents early in the year instead of the week before christmas. LOL |
