Z - here is a story that I thought you might enjoy ...

The Garden of Life by David Gardener

Three people were walking through a forest when they came upon a beautiful garden. "What an awesome place this is," said the first one. "I wonder who's responsible for such an incredible looking garden."

"But it's not just the way it looks," said the second excitedly, "there's a special feeling here, a very unique and powerful feeling. I wonder what it is."

The third one grabbed his companions by the arms, stopping them short. In a hushed tone he said, "You know, things like this don't just happen. It might be a tgrap. We'd better be careful."

Shortly they happened upon and old man in white robes sitting near a fountain at the center of the garden, and the first one asked, "Oh, Wise One, can you tell us what this marvelous looking garden is?"

The old man replied in a sage and sprightly voice, "Why this is the Garden of Life. Haven't you ever seen the Garden of Life before?"

"But, Wise One, what is that special feeling that's here?" the second one asked.

"Why, that's the feeling of life. Haven't you ever felt the feeling of life before?"

Then the third one said, "But tell me sir, is there any danger here that we should watch out for?"

"Oh yes," replied the wise man narrowing his eyes and lowering his voice dramatically.

"I thought so!" exclaimed the third man with a start. "I'm outta here." And in the blink of an eye he was gone.

"Well," said the old man, "now that the danger is gone, let's enjoy this beautiful garden together."

Re: EVIL! what is it?

Hi pohaika…

Yes a very nice story! I thought it was going to end as, the garden is life as it truly is, our ignorance blinds us too it! But I prefer the actual ending.

perhaps the garden is what the earth mother wants her world to be, its about time we humans done our duty and made the world buetiful!

Re: EVIL! what is it?

I loved that...great analogy for where the danger lies.

Speaking of what we percieve to be evil. We've often heard that someone doing 'evil' is often a cry for love, but they don't know how to express it. Some of you may be familiar with David Hawkins 'Power v. Force' and the scale of consciousnness... Anger is an emotion that is utilized to raise one out of a lower level on the scale and move you up the path... As I had read that I understood that aspect...but until this weekend when listening to an Abraham (Hicks) CD where Abraham suggested that all anger is a tool to move someone up the scale of consciousness, out of the depression they are in.

And the thought we need to consider is do we want to leave them there...or assist them in moving on?

Love contemplation.

Spot on mate imho! Is there any point in utilizing one evil to stop another e.g. someone does something wrong, so we put them in jail. It is better to have civilised centres where ‘criminals’ can be taught what is going on in their minds or at least helped where possible. Surely the objective is to turn their lives around, usually if they see their own reflection with complete honesty, then they can learn how to defeat or cope with the strains being put on their minds.

everyone is innocent - except the environment we are born into!
