Divine-Human Relationships.. Iliad vs Gilgamesh etc.
Hello
![]() I would like to pose a question to you mythology omniscients.. Differences in human-divine relationships from mesopotamia and other cultures (gilgamesh mostly) and the iliad? anythoughts? i'm revolving around: the concept of human friendship (how the greek gods enjoyed it and the mesopotamian gods didn't) , the purpose of man (greek-man is not the gods servant mesp- to serve the gods), the attractiveness of man (mesp- when they are gloriful greek- pitiful) and the concept of divine law.. what zeus says goes vs the hebrew faith w/ the 10 commandments) hints would be greatly appreciated i need 1500 words lol.. and i'm not asking you to write my paper of course!! THANKS! Courtney |
