I thought I remember categories like Christianity and some others.
It is no longer there. (the smilie textbox is no longer there too)

Yes, the boards were re-organised - Christianity now comes under "Monotheism" and Alternative spirituality now comes under the general "Theology2 heading (instead of "World religions").

I still need to tweak the layout - perhaps even separate it all out, as originally intended, into specific religions. I'm also currently working on a new header graphic for the site - the plain one has been in use far too long.

The smilie box is still there - in the "reply" box (but not in the "Quick Reply" box, and never has been). Perhaps you're thinking of other vBulletins, where there's a smilie box in the WYSIWYG editor? I'm running vBulletin 3 beta 4 here, whereas the smilie box in the WYSIWYG editor is a feature of beta 6. I'll be upgrading very soon, anyhow.

Once I've enacted a few other changes, I'll be sending out a general e-mail to announce it all.
